Travel Photography

Even when traveling, I’m still a people photographer at heart. But not exclusively…

It was after a 3-week solo photo trip to India many years ago that I discovered I was a “people photographer.” Months after the trip, I decided to “classify” the photos by type (landscape, portrait, detail, etc.). It was immediately obvious that about 95% of all my shots were people shots. The light bulb went off and I’ve been happily obsessed with photographing people ever since. But I have occasionally shot some interesting landscapes and other things and have tried to include some of that work in this section.

CORPORATE

CONFIDENT, PROFESSIONAL, STRONG, APPROACHABLE, NATURAL
Executive portraits, headshots, and action shots are valuable corporate assets. Future clients base first impressions of potential partners on these images…

.

EDITORIAL

NATURAL, DYNAMIC, INTERESTING, REVEALING
I love editorial assignments! They don’t usually pay as well as corporate or advertising assignments, but I love to shoot environmental portraits…

.

ADVERTISING

DYNAMIC, ENGAGED, ENERGETIC, FUN, MEMORABLE
Trade shows, conventions, PR events, corporate philanthropic events, corporate parties, sales events, new product announcements, step-and-repeat shots…

.

EVENTS

STRONG , COMPELLING, EYE-CATCHING, NATURAL, EFFECTIVE
Since I’m a “people photographer,” most of my advertising photography centers around people instead of products. Yes, I shoot some products in the studio too…
