Corporate Photography San Francisco – Craig Sherod offers corporate photography services in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and San Jose (650) 279-8132. || I’m primarily a business photographer. More specifically, a PEOPLE photographer for the BUSINESS community. I probably do more Corporate photography (exec portraits and action shots) than anything else. I also do a lot of business magazine portraits, which I call Editorial photography. And I do Advertising photography (book covers, CD covers, brochures, magazine ads) and business Event photography too. I’ve done some satisfying personal projects too, such as the “Braceros at 80” and another about Voodoo in its birthplace in W. Africa. Thanks for checking me out!
Executive portraits, headshots, and action shots are valuable corporate assets. Future clients base first impressions of potential partners on these images. They are also important to the individual as it represents them to future employers or clients on LinkedIn and social media. Do I really need to explain what a great investment a special portrait can be? And action shots are a great asset on the corporate website for selling a dynamic team and attractive work environment to prospective employees.
Trade shows, conventions, PR events, corporate philanthropic events, corporate parties, sales events, new product announcements, step-and-repeat shots, and customer rewards events are all examples of expensive business events where great photos help you capture long-term value long after the event.
Drones are powerful tools for creating stunning video and still images. They are also a tool with dangerous liabilities when placed in unqualified hands. As one of the first people in the country to pass the new FAA Part 107 licensing exam, I take safety very seriously (and I’m insured for $1,000,000). As a career photographer, I take the creative side equally seriously. Set your company apart by using powerful imagery that previously required a helicopter to capture. Facilities shots, corporate events, advertising, real estate, HR tools, social media, and more. I also support construction, news gathering, insurance companies, tower inspections, and agriculture. Combining the latest drone imaging technology with my photographer’s eye will deliver image assets that set your company apart.
I love editorial assignments! They don’t usually pay as well as corporate or advertising assignments, but I love to shoot environmental portraits. Finding the setting, working the lighting, and then working with subjects to get a comfortable and natural shot is very rewarding. Also, my background, personality, and age allow me to work extremely well with CEO’s and business leaders. When subjects are comfortable and know they are in good hands, you’re going to get the best shots.
Since I’m a “people photographer,” most of my advertising photography centers around people instead of products. Yes, I shoot some products in the studio too, but that’s not my specialty. Shots featuring people in a great setting with great light is what I do. Brochures, magazine ads, web site product pages, product packaging, book covers, and CD covers are all areas of strength.
